A trip of a lifetime to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe
Through TMR I volunteered on the game reserve within Victoria Falls Zimbabwe. For me, this was a trip of a lifetime. The people I met were fabulous, the guides were amazing, and the wildlife was just indescribable. Even if you have travelled before, there is nothing that can compare to Africa. Where do I start with Bali, I came into this not really knowing what to expect but let me tell you, I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences of my life. I did marine conservation for 2 months which seems like a long time but time flies by to the point that 2 months is just not enough. Bali is a beautiful country with great people, amazing food, breathtaking views and many fun opportunities. I can’t recommend it enough.A wildlife experience like no other in Namibia
Earlier this year, my friend and I had the pleasure of spending 3 weeks at the Wildlife sanctuary in Namibia. We saw plenty of animals, helped relocate rhinos, went on a horse sunset ride and more! If you’re considering Namibia as a part of your trip, don’t think twice! I have just returned from Greece volunteering in the conservation of loggerhead sea turtles. I came across TMR and instantly fell in love with their efficiency to provide once in a lifetime travel experiences. I spent two weeks in Kefalonia, a greek island in the ionian sea, where I learned a lot about marine conservation, made amazing friends and saw some baby turtles hatch! When I heard about this travel experience I knew this was something I was interested in. As a 17 year old going to the other side of the world, myself and family were slightly worried, but I had the most unforgettable time and met some amazing people along the way. I recently travelled to Tanzania to volunteer on the teaching course. I had such an amazing time, I had to write all about it and share just some of my pictures from my time there. From the start to the end, I had the most incredible time volunteering within the government primary school in Moshi. I was also lucky enough to help on the childcare project as well. Having spent a week as a teaching volunteer, I was amazed by the beauty of Tanzania and I cannot wait to return to volunteer again.
