Hear all about my time teaching and travelling in Thailand!
I signed up to do Teaching in Thailand, because I’ve always wanted to devote my life into something bigger than myself and I love working with kids. The TMR support team was very helpful and replied quickly to all my questions which was reassuring. The day of my departure I got a text saying who was picking me up from the airport with a picture.
"I cannot give one of my favourite memories because I made so many. "
What made the programme so incredible was who I met there , the other volunteers were incredibly welcoming and involved me in all their plans , when I wasn’t teaching I travelled the country.
Thailand is full of a lot of opportunities , in my free time I visited lots of beaches and I swam with elephants as well as tried different foods and went clubbing etc. There was 7 of us for the entirety of my stay and we are all still in contact even though it was 2 years ago, you create a bond from living together.
We got the coach to Pattaya and went to the beach and lounged around and went to night clubs which was just amazing. I loved teaching the kids and creating a bond with them I cried when I came home. I swam with elephants and swam under waterfalls .
