Come and meet The
Mighty Roar family
Get to know our worldwide team
Say hello to some of our dedicated team members around the world!
At the forefront of the organisation, Chris can be found answering questions at all hours of the day and even night! Often told he loves animals more than humans, Chris has a huge passion for volunteering and can be found regularly at the local animal shelter.
Michelle EdmondsBehind The Scenes
Our behind the scenes lady, when Michelle’s not busy with our children and dogs, she will be found keeping on top of the masses of paperwork. This self proclaimed horse whisperer is always hinting about how we need more “office assistants” – also known as animals!
Emily HollandPart Timer
Our part timer (if we can even call her that!), Emily spends more time abroad than at home and loves to experience new cultures and countries. Emily plans to see the world and has already made a big dent in her to see list!
You’re never too young to start! Phoebe loves to help out and is always the first up to ensure everyone is ready to start work (at 5am!). Soon to be joining us on some adventures around the world, I’m sure she will be a big hit on our Facebook page.
Charith JayaratnaSri Lanka
Charith ensures all of our volunteers in Sri Lanka have fun. A seasoned traveller, he knows everything you need to about Sri Lanka! In his free time (not that he gets much), Charith loves to snorkel, sing, surf and have the occasional daytime nap!
Our humble co-ordinator in Bali, Ketut setup his very own foundation to help teach English within his local community. Nowadays, you will more than likely find him out at sea than on land, as he snorkels, dives and paddle boards daily!
You won’t find a more caring and genuine individual than Eben! You can be sure to be in safe hands when volunteering in Ghana. He loves music (organises a yearly festival in Busua), is a keen footballer and a big fan of Liverpool FC – everyone has their flaws!
An experienced traveller, Peeyush now looks forward to welcoming volunteers into his home in India! If he’s not in the gym, then you will find Peeyush up on the roof terrace teaching yoga and meditation to volunteers.
If you would like to know anything about wildlife, then Ebin is the go to guy! Our co-ordinator on the popular South Africa Amakhala programme, Ebin loves to cook on the braai, football and look after his children.
After receiving help when he was little, Sean is now on a mission to repay this by providing education and care to the local children in the surrounding villages. Working tirelessly to build his foundation, he now welcomes volunteers from around the world into his home.
Nguyen Thanh MaiVietnam
Our star in Vietnam, Mai ensures all volunteers enjoy their time in the capital. With a bachelor degree in Chinese and English, as well as a master’s degree in Cultures and development Studies, you’re in good hands! When not in the office, you will often find Mai out and about with the volunteers enjoying the city life.
