Are you ready to dive in head first and help make a difference to our oceans and the marine life and ecosystems within them? Help protect sea turtles, dolphins, whales, manta rays, sharks and more on our ethical marine conservation programmes. 

You and other volunteers can help make a real difference today! Assist with world-class field research by collecting vital data, restore coral reefs, remove plastic from the ocean and educate the local communities. This is your chance to work in some of the most amazing destinations around the world, as you learn new skills, gain in-depth experience and become PADI qualified.

Our programmes have dedicated start dates, generally available each and every week throughout the year and you can choose to join us from 1-24 weeks.

Our structured and safe marine conservation projects makes volunteering with The Mighty Roar ideal for first time and / or solo travellers. Volunteering is the perfect way to meet like-minded people and allows you to explore a new and exciting destination as a group.

Bali Diving Conservation

Be at the forefront of marine conservation by diving up to eight times a week across four different sites. You will work alongside the local community to deploy artificial reef structures around along the North coast of Bali whilst also carrying out research and ID dives. Based at one of the most popular diving spots in Bali, you'll spend your days in the serene waters of the Indian ocean and soak up the scenery on this idyllic diving programme.

We urgently need support from volunteers from around the world to help restore and protect the coral reef in picturesque Tianyar. What once was a highly biodiverse and healthy 3 kilometre reef, it is now in a poor condition due to many years of unsustainable fishing practices and from pollution. Spend your days building artificial reefs and once per week scuba diving.

Montenegro Dolphin Research

Gain real life experience as a marine biologist as you contribute towards important dolphin research. The picturesque bay of Kotor is a biodiversity hotspot and officially the deepest fjord in the mediterranean - making it a perfect home for bottlenose and striped dolphins. However, due to increasing threats the species is now at risk of disappearing completely from the Adriatic. Volunteering alongside an inspiring team of researchers, your duties will include participating in land and boat surveys as well as entering data, helping with photo identification, joining community outreach projects and more!
