Protect their future through
conservation & research

Collect vital research data to conserve endangered wildlife

This is your chance to see wildlife out in their natural habitat as you head on safaris in the African bush across private game reserves and expansive national parks.

Our immersive conservation and research experiences will allow you to learn first-hand about conservation techniques and initiatives critical to protecting wildlife around the world. As part of the programmes you may get involved with tracking large carnivores, elephants and rhinos, assisting on camera trap surveys, monitoring animal behaviour, movement and relationships and so much more. The data you and other volunteers collect will directly inform conservation strategies to ensure threatened species have a bright future.

Our programmes have dedicated start dates, generally available each and every week throughout the year and you can choose to join us from 1-12 weeks.

Our structured and safe conservation and research projects makes volunteering with The Mighty Roar ideal for first time and / or solo travellers. Volunteering is the perfect way to meet like-minded people and allows you to explore a new and exciting destination as a group.
