During your time in Tenerife you will be based just outside of the seaside town of La Jaca, where you will find all of your everyday essentials here as well as a pretty and quiet beach, perfect for relaxing or swimming! The sanctuary is on a main bus route where you can easily hop on a bus and get to the capital city, Santa Cruz, venture over to Puerto De La Cruz or experience the atmosphere in Los Christianos!

This beautiful island boasts impressive volcanic landscapes, stunning picturesque beaches, crystal clear waters and most importantly – year-round sunshine!

Help in a fun and fast paced 6,500 acre eco horse sanctuary in Tenerife where there are over 400 animals to look after, including horses, donkeys, goats, pigs, dogs and more, you can be sure no two days will be the same.

Our programmes start every Monday throughout the year and you can choose to join us from 1-10 weeks.

Our structured and safe programmes makes volunteering in Tenerife ideal for first time and / or solo travellers. Volunteering is the perfect way to meet like-minded people and allows you to explore Tenerife as a group.

Beaches

Tenerife is famous for having some of the best beaches in Spain. There are a diverse range of beaches where you can choose between golden sand or black volcanic sand and those where you would struggle to find a spot or you would be the only one there. So you will have plenty of places to choose from in your free time in Tenerife, including a few of our favourites; La Tejita, Las Teresitas and Benijo.

Towns

Tenerife is multifaceted, not just because of the various landscapes from Mount Teide to the coasts, but also because of the different towns and villages across the island. You can spend your time roaming the major touristy towns of Las Americas, Los Cristianos or Santa Cruz or head a little inland and experience the real Tenerife in smaller villages - the so-called ‘Guachinches’.
