There's More To Romania
Than Legends And Folklore

Where history meets natural wonder

Recently voted one of the most friendly countries in Europe, Romania is sure to win you over if not by the warmth of the locals then by outstanding natural beauty. The largest of the balkan countries, Romania offers rocky mountains, fairytale castles and authentic villages steeped with tradition.

Our street dog programme is based in one of these small rural villages where you can experience the friendly Romanian culture and take in the views. 30 minutes drive from the town of Drobeta-Turnu Severin and based on the river Danube, there is lots to explore in the area.

You will spend your days surrounded by dogs, helping at a shelter which needs volunteers like you to provide care and support to over 250 rescued dogs.

Only a few hours direct flight from the UK, this programme is perfect for those who want to volunteer closer to home whilst also experiencing a different culture and scenery.

Our street dog programme starts every Monday throughout the year and you can choose to join us from 1-24 weeks.

Our structured and safe programmes makes volunteering in Romania ideal for first time and / or solo travellers. Volunteering is the perfect way to meet like-minded people and allows you to explore Romania as a group.
