As with everything in life though it pays to be organised. So if you plan on seeing Namibia on one of our amazing weekend trips and would like to be guaranteed a place please book well in advance of travel.

You can simply add this weekend trip when applying for any programme in Namibia under ‘Optional Extras’. If you’ve already signed up for one of our volunteer programmes in Namibia and would like to add this weekend trip, then you can simply request this within your My Trip account. Please note that places on our weekend trips are non-refundable and non-transferable.

We operate a number of amazing weekend trips every month that allow you to explore the country as a group with your new-found friends. The structured itinerary will allow you to make the most of your free time and we have maximised time to provide you with something different and exciting every day.

A member of a local tour organisation who knows the country inside out, will accompany you throughout the trip. Not only will you get to share all of their knowledge, but the trip will be even more enjoyable and safe.

If you’re looking for amazing wildlife opportunities, beautiful and unique landscapes and a chance to see Namibia’s tallest dune, then look no further! The Etosha & Swakopmund Adventure is a fantastic way to explore three of Namibia’s greatest highlights.

One of the best national parks in the world for Safari is Etosha. Everyone will venture out into Etosha National Park in a custom built safari vehicle, as we seek some of the 114 species of mammal, 350 species of bird and 110 species of reptile, you are set for an incredible experience like no other! This is your chance to encounter wild lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, giraffe, wildebeest, eland and more – it’s impossible to mention them all!

As a group we will explore everything this Namibia has to offer, including:

  • Explore the vast and unique landscapes in a custom built safari vehicle
  • Head out on safari three times in the world famous Etosha National Park
  • Spend your nights at the exclusive watering hole, waiting quietly for elephants and rhinos

You cannot come all the way to Southern Africa and not spend a few days in Cape Town, the best city in the world! Known as “The Gateway to Africa”, Cape Town is a coming-together of cultures, cuisines and landscapes.

No one can really overstate the case for visiting Cape Town. The surrounding mountain ranges, including the in your face Table Mountain that rises dramatically from the ground, the pristine white beaches lapped by the crystal-clear glittering seas and the cool urban edge that offers excellent art galleries, hip bars, world-rated restaurants and design-savvy shops.

You will join the Peninsula Tour, which has been specifically designed for those travellers that have the desire to see, taste, learn and experience something different from the norm. Join us for a scenic drive around the Cape Peninsula where we showcase the beautiful sights and sounds of one of the most beautiful places in the world. You will get to see and stop off at many of the famous points and landmarks around the city, including; Camps Bay, Houts Bay, Chapmans Peak, Cape Point, Cape of Good Hope, Boulders Beach, Boyes Drive and Constantia!
