You can simply add this weekend trip when applying for any programme in India under ‘Optional Extras’. We operate a number of amazing weekend trips every month that allow you to explore the country as a group with your new-found friends. The structured itinerary will allow you to make the most of your free time and we have maximised time to provide you with something different and exciting every day.
A member of our local team who knows the country inside out, will accompany you throughout the trip. Not only will you get to share all of their knowledge, but the trip will be even more enjoyable and safe.

The Golden Triangle is a classic introduction to India and comprises of the three most visited cities in the country's north-west - Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. Walk the crowded streets of the sprawling and fascinating Indian capital, Delhi, and tour around all of the main attractions . You'll also get the chance to explore Agra, once the heart of the Mughal empire that boasts the unparalleled beauty of the Taj Mahal.
The highlight of any trip to India has to be seeing the magnificent Taj Mahal. Arguably the most beautiful building in the world, the Taj Mahal is a symbol of India that is a must see on any trip to the country. Everyone will be up bright and early to make our way to the Taj Mahal for sunrise and an English-speaking guide will teach you all about the story that inspired the building of the Taj Mahal and the sad tragedy involved in creating it.
As a group we will explore everything this incredible region has to offer, including:

- Getting lost in the hustle and bustle on the streets of Delhi

Based on the South West coast, you will spend 4 days and 3 nights in Goa where you can truly experience India's very own pocket-sized paradise! With no planned itinerary, this is time for you and your new found friends to truly enjoy yourselves, whether that be relaxing or taking part in some of the many activities on offer.
Goa offers an eclectic mix of Portuguese heritage, a wonderful climate, lush green jungles and exotic food. If you're a beach lover looking to soak up the sun on some golden sands then you will be in your element. However, for those who are less inclined to lay on the beautiful beaches, you will have plenty of activities to enjoy, including:
- Swimming with dolphins in Sinquerim
- Snorkelling at Grande Island
- Walking through the dark passages of Goa Caves
- Kayaking across the charming creeks
- Cycling on Miramar beach
- Scuba diving in Malvan

Dubai stopover trip

If you’re flying to the other side of the world, why not break your long journey up with a stopover in Dubai? Enjoy 4 days and 3 nights in this glamorous state that will amaze you in every way. Be in awe of the sheer scale of this powerhouse city as you wander the vast streets surrounded by hundreds of skyscrapers.
Head to the top of the world as you climb up the Burj Khalifa – the tallest building in the world at 828 metres high (additional cost)! Get lost in Dubai Mall, the world’s largest shopping centre with over 1200 shops and restaurants and head outside to watch the fantastic water and light show at Dubai Fountain.
Alongside all of the glitz and glamour, Dubai also has historic neighbourhoods, colourful souqs (markets), museums, mosques, beaches and of course the desert!
As part of the trip fee you will get to hop on board a land cruiser and head into the deserts of Dubai! The evening will be spent dune bashing, admiring the sunset, watching traditional dances and enjoying a BBQ under the Arabian stars – something you will never forget!
You will also head off on a 4 hour city tour around all of the major attractions. See the contrast between ‘new’ and ‘old’ Dubai, where you will get to admire the beaches, hotels, viewpoints, museums, mosques and more!
The stopover trip is the perfect blend of structured guided tours and free independent travel. You’ll have plenty of time to explore Dubai at your own pace and with so much on offer there will be many things for you and your new friends to choose from. Spend the day topping up your tan at Jumeirah beach, shopping to your hearts content at Dubai Mall or trying out some of the main adrenaline activities on offer.
